Papo makes the best 90mm painted PVC figurines and the Cannon Pirate is a prime example of this toy company's excellent products. Far superior to Schleich or Bullyland, Papo figures exude action as well as personality. One of several fantasy pirate figures, this cannon-carrying bucanneer is loaded with detail. He sports a tricorn hat with skull emblem, a flowing red beard, a braided pigtail tied in a bow, and his powerfull arms and hands support a bronze cannon on his left shoulder. Mysterious tattoos cover his torso and arms and a haversack bulging with cannonballs hangs on one hip. It looks as if he is either carrying a cannon barrel onto a pirate ship or getting readying to fire it like a shoulder weapon. Either way he's ready to take on the enemy be they Papo royal sailors or other Papo pirates.
